RSC Law Celebrates Multiple Honorees for Minnesota Super Lawyers 2024

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota – RSC Law is proud to announce that Shareholder and Lead Attorney Paul Schroepfer has been named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers 2024 list. Additionally, Shareholder and Lead Attorney Robert Correia and Associate Attorneys Mary Shaw and Evangeline Dhawan-Maloney have been recognized as Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2024.

Paul Schroepfer’s inclusion in the Minnesota Super Lawyers 2024 list highlights his dedication, experience, and outstanding contributions to the legal profession. A trial lawyer, first and foremost, he fights every day for the rights of injured people enduring challenging times and prolonged fights against powerful insurance companies.

Paul has successfully resolved millions of dollars worth of claims through settlement, mediation, arbitration, litigation, and at trial. This year marks the fourth time he has achieved Super Lawyers, having been named a Minnesota Super Lawyer in 2023, and twice named a Minnesota Super Lawyers – Rising Star in 2020 and 2021, a recognition only given to the Top 2.5% of Attorneys in Minnesota under age 40.

In his career, Paul has taken numerous cases to trial where he has continually secured favorable jury verdicts for his clients.  He has also argued before the Minnesota Supreme Court through his appellate practice.

The Rising Stars list recognizes attorneys who are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Robert Correia, Mary Shaw, and Evangeline Dhawan-Maloney’s inclusion in this prestigious list is a testament to their skill, dedication, and promise in the legal field. These emerging leaders have consistently demonstrated their ability to handle complex cases and provide knowledgeable, informed, and zealous representation to their clients.

A proven trial lawyer who dedicates his entire practice to helping the injured, Robert provides exceptional counsel and support to his clients for car accidents, all types of vehicle accidents, all types of personal injury claims, and wrongful death claims.

He was honored as a 2022 Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer for his role as lead attorney in several million-dollar car accident recoveries in 2022—both by settlement and at trial. He has also been selected five (5) years in a row (2020-2024) as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for his work in personal injury law.

Robert has secured tens of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his injured clients. Along with maintaining a successful trial practice, he has extensive experience with arbitrations and appeals, gaining a reputation as a fierce and tireless advocate for his clients, inside and outside the courtroom. Robert has achieved numerous winning jury verdicts for his clients at trial for much more money than the defendant or insurance company offered to his clients before trial. He has successfully litigated thousands of lawsuits in state and federal court, consistently obtaining favorable results for his clients through mediation, arbitration, and at trial.

Associate Attorney Mary Shaw practices in the areas of immigration law, criminal defense, and family law, bringing inside experience to her practice as a former clerk in Minnesota State District Courts, at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the Department of Homeland Security.

She focuses on deportation defense, humanitarian-based immigration, including U and T visas and VAWA applications, but can guide clients in all immigration processes through USCIS, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Mary also has significant experience in criminal court, representing clients charged with everything from petty misdemeanors to serious felonies. Her family law practice includes representation in divorce, orders for protection and harassment restraining orders, child custody, and paternity.

Before joining RSC Law, Mary clerked for two Minnesota State Court Judges, worked at a non-profit doing immigration and family law, and at another Twin Cities law firm practicing immigration, criminal, and family law. She also worked and studied abroad in Valencia, Spain and Copenhagen, Denmark.

Associate Attorney Evangeline Dhawan-Maloney joined RSC Law in late 2023. Drawing upon her extensive knowledge and experience in immigration law, she focuses on removal defense, family-based and humanitarian immigration, and citizenship, among others.

She vigorously advocates for her clients in numerous settings, including the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the Federal District Court. She has also assisted countless clients through the complex intersection of immigration and criminal or family law.

Before joining RSC law, Evangeline worked as an immigration attorney with Legal Aid, representing low-income individuals in various immigration matters. She feels strongly about helping her clients navigate the complex immigration system and has an unwavering commitment to providing them with the best possible legal representation.
