John Arnold
Associate Attorney
About
Attorney John Ogden Arnold is an experienced and dedicated immigration attorney.
Attorney Arnold is passionate about protecting the rights of immigrants. He has been an attorney since 2014, and has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2016.
His family immigration practice is based around his philosophy of using checklists and having multiple individuals review the same application to produce the best possible filing. He has a near-perfect record with receiving approvals for I-601A unlawful presence waivers. His record in terms of speed of filing is submitting an I-130 within 24 hours of being hired, and submitting a DACA renewal application the same day he was hired
His accomplishments have also included winning numerous deportation cases, including 237(a)(1)(H) waivers and defensive adjustments of status. He is experienced at appeals before the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), where he was able to win an approval of a green card for an individual despite a false claim to citizenship. Arnold won an affirmative asylum case just days after an interview (which is unusual as affirmative asylum cases sometimes continue pending for months or years after the conclusion of the interview.)
Attorney Arnold currently practices exclusively immigration law, but has experience in family law and criminal defense, including having represented clients at several trials.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Arnold lived in Spain for nearly 3 years, He speaks fluent Spanish and hopes someday to learn more languages. He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Georgia, Illinois and Wisconsin. Arnold also enjoys hiking, baking bread, and watching movies.
